Some people stay alive even after death and are remembered as Legends. Today ( January 12) is a day which is celebrated in the name of one of such legends: Swami Vivekananda.

We strongly believe that there is no need to provide any intro about this great personality. As, not only in India, Swami Vivekananda is an acclaimed personality across the globe. In India, this day is celebrated as the ‘National Youth Day’ in order to observe Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary (January 12, 1863).

The first and most acclaimed leader of the India’s freedom struggle applauded Swami Vivekananda’s works of preaching Hinduism across the world. Tilak says “It was Swami Vivekananda who took on his shoulders this stupendous task of establishing the glory of Hinduism in different countries across the borders.” Also, Bal Gangadhar has a memorable event of his life – Him meeting Swamiji in person in 1892.
